Early beginningsEdit

Born in Northampton, Walker moved toBergen, Norway, with his Norwegian mother and English father at the age of two. Growing up in the digital era, Walker found an early interest in computers which later turned into a fascination for programming and graphic design. He initially had no music history, however he later taught himself by browsingYouTube videos based on music production.^[1] In 2012 he started making music on his laptop and his songs soon caught the attention of record labels.

2015–present: "Faded" and "Sing Me to Sleep"Edit

Walker's song "Fade" gained attention after its release on YouTube via the labelNoCopyrightSounds. The tracks "Spectre" and "Force" followed in 2015. Walker signed with MER Musikk under Sony Music Sweden and his next single, "Faded", was a remastered vocal version of "Fade". It was released 25 November 2015 and featured uncredited female vocalist Iselin Solheim.^[2] The song topped the Norwegian VG-lista singles chart and the Swedish Sverigetopplistan charts and was a hit in Finland, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, many parts of European countries and some Asian countries.^[3]
