Sarah Bye is a French-Norwegian violinist born 1991.
Born in France, Sarah started with solfège already in preschool. At the age of 7, after she had moved with her family to Norway, she started to play the violin. Since then she has been enrolled in various young talent programs, including studies at Conservatoire National de Musique et Danse de Lyon in France, and is currently studying with professor Peter Herresthal at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo.
She has performed on grand stages like the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, Oslo Concert Hall and appeared on national TV, both live and recorded. In April 2014 she played Bartók violin concerto no. 2 with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra.
